【Yubana Festival & Ema Festival Announcement】

The “Yubana Festival,” a celebration of gratitude for the blessings of Hirayu Onsen, will be held again this year!

At Hirayu Shrine, sacred prayer sticks with written wishes are burned , and hot spring water collected from various sources is boiled in a large pot for a purification ritual. The priest then sprinkles the blessed hot spring water over visitors to pray for “good health” and “prosperous business.”

・Yubana Festival (ceremony): from around 7:00 PM (*canceled in case of rain)

Venue: Hirayu Onsen, Hirayu Shrine grounds (Okuhida Onsenkyo Hirayu, Takayama City)
